WHAT IS NOM-005-ASEA-2016?
Normative instrument that regulates the design, construction, operation and maintenance of diesel and gasoline dispensing and self-consumption service stations.
WHAT DO I NEED TO COMPLY WITH THIS NORM?
Each Service Station must have an operation and maintenance report each calendar year (Understand the validity of the report from the date of issue). Verifies compliance with all the requirements and specifications established in NOM-005-ASEA-2016.
HOW DO I GET MY COMPLIANCE OPINION?
For the issuance of the compliance report, corresponding to the operation and maintenance stage, the conformity assessment will be carried out by an authorized third party.
IS A VISIT TO THE SERVICE STATION REQUIRED FOR THE ISSUE OF THE OPINION?
Yes, visit is required.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE MY OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE DICTUM?
You will be entitled to sanctions, fines and possible closure of your service station.
